I'm still alive! :)

Hi everyone :) Everyone who reads this blog I should say. :)

I'm still alive, still here, I have just neglected my blogging for a while! I guess I haven't really been in the mood to write, plus I've been busy! Work is getting busier, I have over 40 clients now, and we are getting a new website, so we just trained for that...crazy! If any of you know anyone who'd like to work with a Registered Dietitian, let me know - I'd love to get clients of my own so that I can actually make money :)

Soooo an update: my surgery to remove the cyst they found and zap out all my endometriosis is this coming Monday, April 14th. If you think of it at about 7:30EST, please say a prayer, that's when it will start. (I'm sure some people will still be sleeping, but that's okay :))......I went to Omaha last week for my nieces First Communion - I saw a lot of members of my family (stayed with my parents of course :)), and many of my friends - it was a crazy time! I do of course miss everyone but I was also glad to get back home. It's much calmer here. I think working from home has made me more of a quiet-time person, I've become so used to it! Except...I do still love being around kids, and they are pretty loud! :) I had a good time... My mom will be coming Sunday to stay a few days post-surgery, so that will be nice, too....

You know what, let's do a lil wrap-up of what has happened in the past two years, I'm sure it will entertain people. :)

I have:

- Graduated from College

- Moved from St Louis to Omaha, Omaha to Florida

- Broke up with my boyfriend of 2.5 years

- Moved two more times in Florida

- Started dating my current boyfriend :)

- Kept up that long-distance thang for quite some time!

- Completed my Dietetic Internship, after a not-so-fun 9 months of being treated poorly by many of the older women down there in Florida. They don't like peppy young girls I don't think...

- Moved to Indianapolis, staying temporarily with friends of a friend (anticipating staying there temporarily, anyhow, til my job placed me in Lafayette as it was supposed to -complicated story, I'll write a book, you can find out then)

- Moved again in the Indy area

- Cried

- Lived out of my car, staying with various friends each night when I had no place to go, due to the situation I state below

- Started a lawsuit and action against my boss and company for sexual harassment...hence why my boss did not give me the jobs I was supposed to do

- Started going to counseling/therapy but couldn't afford to keep it up...tried to get the company to pay for it but they wouldn't...

- Cried

- Ended the summer with my former boss being "forced to resign," but myself being out of the original job I was supposed to be doing...and of course miserable.

- Given up on the lawsuit because it caused me too much stress (though I'm not pleased about giving it up, I can't handle it at the moment)

- Moved to Lafayette and commuted into Indy every day for three months, for a job I despised

- Cried. And developed anxiety issues.

- Started a new job working from home in Lafayette

- Had a 2-week long stomach flu (side note, just topped it all off, the last day of the stomach flu, my current boyfriend and I broke up... but now we're back together, no worries...but what a couple of months I had! ha)

- Found out I'm having surgery on my most prized parts! (I want to have lots of little ones you know :))

- Cried.

- Got a kitten, hoping she'd help me relax :)

- Last but not least: made some of the best friends I have ever made in my life :) And become a pretty strong woman, with strong faith of course... though I do still cry :)

Now, I feel I'm not quite getting where I thought I would be in life, but I'll figure it out soon enough. Or it'll just fall into place, rather.

I can't wait to be back to my old, optimistic, self-confident self!

Patience and prayers are all I need. :)

Not sure if I'll be blogging again before Monday, and if not, I'll try to come back on and post about surgery after it's all said and done!

I've added a picture of Lily, my kitten, and the flowers Rob gave me the other night when I got into town from visiting family.
